Ray obtained a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Drexel University in 2008.  As an Undergraduate, Ray conducted research in the fields of software reverse engineering, software protection, and software analysis.  His research was conducted as part of the Software Engineering Research Group (SERG), advised by Spiros Mancoridis and Moshe Kam.  His projects included a survey of reverse engineering tools and a software reverse engineering tool detector .  His senior design project, designing and constructing a lightweight hybrid vehicle, was a joint effort between the ECE and the MEM departments at Drexel University, advised by Bradley Layton.  During his undergraduate career, he worked at Lockheed Martin Marine Systems and Sensors in Moorestown, NJ.

Currently, Ray is a PhD student at Drexel University, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where he is a member of the Data Fusion Laboratory under the advisement of Moshe Kam. He is currently the teaching assistant for ECE-S511-513, Systems I, II, and III.

His research interests include software anti-tamper, computer system security, networking, optimization, autonomic computing, software analysis, information assurance, and control theory.
